Ruby Rose is a beauty that captures your attention. At first glance she, like a mountain, looks handsome, strong, and masculine. At another angle she is delicate, fun, and bubbly. She exemplifies a trait that all models and actresses of her caliber seek the ability to fade into the background while subtly projecting her personality throughout. This trait makes her perfect at modeling, so I decided to create an illustration that showed her so. I traced her in illustrator after using a picture of her in a magazine for a school project. I used tones of light green for light shadows, dark tones of green for mid dark shadows, and dark blue for dark shadows. I was inspired by the colors of a mountain due to how they are symbols of strength and change at different angles of view just like her in this picture it is based on.
